Monday, Oct. 17, 2011

9:52 a.m.  Vandalism  Two tires were slashed on a Chevy 2500 truck that was parked on Francis Ct.

1:36 p.m.  Theft from Vehicle  A GPS unit was stolen from a Chevy Tahoe parked on Miller Ave.

4:05 p.m.  Animal Call  A stray yellow Labrador retriever was in the area near Pullman Ave.

8:57 p.m.  City Ordinance Violation  A person was doing roof work on Hiller St.

Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011

11:21 a.m.  Driving without License  Police arrested a Belmont man for driving without a license on Ralston Ave. The man was cited and released.

12:06 p.m.  Hazardous Situation  Hanging wires were reported on Belmont Canyon Rd.

3:25 p.m.  Theft from a Vehicle  The tailgate from a Toyota Tacoma truck was stolen on Old County Rd.

5:12 p.m.  Drive with Suspended License  A known Belmont resident was observed driving without a license. The information was forwarded to the D.A.’s office for charges to be filed.

Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011

11:35 a.m.  Stolen Vehicle   A white cargo van was stolen on El Camino Real.

1:45 p.m.  Animal Call   A dog was in a parked vehicle with the windows rolled up on Shoreway Rd.

6:10 p.m.  Stolen Vehicle   A vehicle was taken while the owner was out of the car and the keys were in the car. The suspect was arrested.

9:17 p.m.  Welfare Check   The lights were on in a house on Kedith St., but it was unknown if anyone was home.

Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011

12:19 a.m. Hit and Run/No Injury   A silver full-size pickup truck struck two parked cars on Granada St. at Ralston Ave. and left the scene.

1:31 p.m. Threats   Two people were arguing on Ralston Ave. over boyfriend issues.

4:28 p.m.  Welfare Check   A person was acting irrationally in the center median on Ralston Ave.
