Police Blotter: Juveniles Asking for Liquor, Annoying Meat Salesman

Friday, Feb. 10, 2012

10:56am  Non Injury Accident  A Nissan and a Chevy pickup truck collided on El Camino Real at Harbor Boulevard; the reporting party said the driver of the Nissan appeared to be intoxicated.

12:33pm  Solicitor Complaint  A man in a truck was going door-to-door selling fish and steaks on Oak Knoll Drive. The reporting party was outside and said the man surveyed her entire yard and asked her questions about her BBQ, and was very pushy.

2:04pm  Animal Call  The reporting party was concerned for a dog left in a silver Range Rover parked in the Caltrain Lot on El Camino Real. The vehicle was parked near the pay station and the window was barely open.

3:07pm  Missing Person  A person reported a runaway juvenile on Old County Road.

12:26am  Medical Emergency  A speaker fell over and hit a person on the head at an establishment on Old County Road.

3:00am  Noise Complaint  A person complained of a party going on on Oak Knoll Drive.

7:56am  Medical Emergency  A small child was having a seizure on Chesterton Avenue.

9:51am  Suspicious Person  A person on El Camino Real was talking irrationally to passersby.

4:44pm  Theft  A bicycle was stolen from a parking lot on Continentals Way.

6:16pm  Disturbance  An ongoing neighbor dispute occurred on Forest Avenue.

7:30pm  Disturbance--Juvenile  Three juveniles were asking customers to buy liquor for them at a establishment on Ralston Avenue.

10:52pm  Drunk in Public  An officer initiated activity on Ralston Avenue and arrested a 32-year-old man for being drunk in pubic.

Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012

5:09am  Welfare Check  The California Highway Patrol requested a welfare check on a person who gave his keys to another person to get gas and that person never came back.

11:07am  Citizen Assist  The reporting party went to the police administrative office to report that she had sold her car on Craigslist the day before, but the buyer called last night and said the car had already broken down. She thought she saw the buyer parked outside of her apartment and was concerned for her safety.

3:31pm  Suspicious Person  An elderly woman came to the reporting party's door on Notre Dame Avenue and seemed disoriented and unstable. The reporting party asked elderly woman to come, but the elderly woman would not go into the home. She then left and was walking toward the intersection of Notre Dame Avenue and Folger Drive.

3:49pm  Vandalism  Lights were broken at Merry Moppet/Belmont Oaks Academy on Carlmont Drive.

5:29pm  Animal Call  A chow dog with a harness was reported heading down Old County Road toward Industrial Road.

5:37pm  Animal Call  A person who returned the dog reported that the dog owner was beating her dog after it was returned.

6:14pm  Traffic/VC Violation Complaint  A citizen reported the left hand turn light signal from northbound El Camino Real to Ralston Avenue was not cycling.
