Police Blotter: Drunk in Public, Hawk With a Broken Wing

Friday, Jan. 13, 2012

2:13am  Suspicious Vehicle  A silver sedan with unknown occupants was reported parked across the street from a residence on Avon Street. Loud music was coming from the vehicle.

3:51am  Disturbance   A man on Irene Court said he had a verbal dispute with his wife, but that the argument was abated.

8:23am  Suspicious Person  Three truant juveniles were seen on Alameda de las Pulgas at Carlmont Drive. An officer initiated activity and gave a warning to the juveniles.

12:22pm  Disturbance The reporting party stated that he was having trouble with his 15-year-old son and that the son threw a box and hit him. No injuries were reported. The juvenile ran off to an unknown location.

1:17pm  Burglary  A resident on Hillcrest Drive reported that someone had forced entry through the back door of the residence; no items were missing.

6:08pm  Animal Call  A resident on Alhambra Drive reported a hawk with a broken wing in the roadway. The Peninsula Humane Society was responding to the call. 

 

Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012

12:13pm  Medical Emergency  A man had a possible stroke on Cliffside Drive.

1:01pm  Animal Call  A small dog was loose in the area on Witheridge Drive.

4:04pm  Noise Complaint  A person was banging on the ceiling on Fifth Avenue.

8:04pm  Warrant Service/Attempt  An officer arrested a man from San Leandro on an outstanding warrant. The arrest occurred on Ralston Avenue at Highway 101. 

9:15pm  Citizen Assist  Subjects may have been smoking in one of the apartments on Carlmont Drive.

10:11pm and 10:23pm  Noise Complaint  A person was reported to be yelling and screaming on Cobblestone Lane. 

11:12pm  Suspicious Circumstances  Vehicles were parked at the end of Monte Crista; the reporting party was concerned about loitering and littering.

 

Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012

8:26pm  Assist Other Agency  A Belmont officer was out with a San Mateo Police Department officer on a traffic stop on El Camino Real and Belmont Avenue.

9:11pm  Parking Complaint  A vehicle was cited for parking in a handicapped spot on Shoreway Road.

10:18pm  Barking Dog  A barking dog was reported on Fairway Drive

 

Monday, Jan. 16, 2012


8:44am  Drive with Suspended License  Officers cited and released a man on Cornish Way at Hiller Street for driving on a suspended license.

11:09am  Alarm--Silent  Two juveniles were reported to be behind a business on Granada Street shooting BB guns at the business. 

2:14pm  Citizen Arrest  A person on Mezes Avenue reported ongoing problems with a neighbor who drives recklessly. 

3:36pm  Drunk in Public  A transient was bothering customers at a business on El Camino Real. He was cited for drunk in public and released to First Chance. 

3:44pm  Medical Emergency  A man fell off the roof on Alameda de las Pulgas.
