Man Found Stabbed to Death at San Mateo Storage Facility

Police are treating the death as a homicide.

A man was found stabbed to death at the All American Self Storage on E. Third Avenue in San Mateo this afternoon, police said.

Officers responded to the storage facility at about 1:30 p.m. and found the person, described as a middle-aged man, deceased.

The San Mateo Police Department is treating the case as a homicide, and say it's believed to be an isolated incident and not a random act.

This is the city's first homicide this year.

Police Sgt. Dave Norris said authorities have questioned several people at the scene.
