Man Pulled from Waters by San Mateo Bridge

It's the second rescue near the bridge in two days.

A man was pulled from the waters near the San Mateo Bridge late this afternoon, becoming the man to be rescued by the bridge in two days.

The U.S. Coast Guard received a report the man was in the water near the west end of the bridge at about 4:40 p.m.

The Foster City Fire Department was able to pull him from the water at approximately 5:30 p.m. The man was conscious and responsive, and was being taken to a local marina for medical evaluation.
