Highway 280 Reopens After Rollover Crash

A man was ejected from his vehicle this afternoon in a solo crash on Hwy. 280 near Farm Hill Boulevard.

A solo vehicle crash ejected a male driver onto Interstate Highway
280 near Redwood City this afternoon, a California Highway Patrol officer
said. The accident was reported at 3:15 p.m. near Farm Hill Boulevard.

Two lanes were closed and a Sig-alert was issued at 3:39 p.m. It was canceled at 4:07 p.m. and the lanes reopened.

CHP Officer Kevin Bartlett said the driver had been heading northbound but somehow lost control and ended up on the southbound side of
the freeway.

He was ejected from the car and suffered major injuries and was
taken to a hospital, Bartlett said.
