Graffiti Vandals Strike Fox Elementary School

Vandals tagged the outbuildings, tables and playground.

Sometime during the nighttime hours between Wednesday, Sept. 18 and Thursday Sept. 19th, unknown suspect(s) vandalized the campus of Fox Elementary School with graffiti.

According to Belmont Police Dept. spokesperson Capt. Pat Halleran, several parts of the campus, including outbuildings, tables and the playground, were extensively “tagged” with various messages and images.

Belmont police are investigating, however, Halleran says they do not yet have any information on a suspect. Just before school opened on Sept. 11, a major expansion and remodeling project was completed on the campus.
