Chase Bank Robbed on Laurel; Suspect Still At-Large
The Chase Bank was robbed Thursday afternoon of more than $3000.
The on Laurel Street was robbed of $3,350 just after noon on Thursday, police said. Police are still searching for the suspect.
At approximately 10:10 a.m., the suspect walked into the bank, located at 845 Laurel Street, and handed a teller a note that said, “I have a gun. Give me all the money. Big Bills. No dye Packs. No games.”

No words were spoken. No weapon was seen.
The suspect then exited the bank and headed northbound down Cowgill Alley. The teller sounded the alarm and called police and an extensive search by the San Carlos bureau of the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office was conducted, police said. The suspect was not located; only a beige over coat belonging to the suspect was found within a fenced area next to a vacant business by 850 El Camino Real.
