Boys Reportedly Bring Gun to Redwood City High School

The incident occurred at about 2:40 p.m. at Sequoia High School.

Two male juveniles reportedly entered a Redwood City high school with a gun on Wednesday afternoon.

At about 2:40 p.m., police received a call from a concerned man who reported that he observed one of two boys pull a firearm from a backpack and show it to the other boy.

The man told police that the boy with the gun also removed and replaced its magazine.

Both boys had been walking near Sequoia High School, which is located at 1201 Brewster Ave., and casually entered the school campus' north side, police said.

Officers responded to the area of Broadway and Clinton Street and conducted a thorough search of interior and exterior areas of the school but did not locate the boys, according to police.
