Belmont Police to Offer Social Media Safety Class for Parents

The free class is geared toward parents, and not intended for children.

 

The , as part of the Belmont Safe Schools Program, will host a free presentation for parents on social media safety on May 16 at the Belmont Library.

School resource officers Andre Moniot and Milana Jordan will cover topics relating to use of social media by young people, including cyber bullying.

The Social Media Safety Class is free and open to any parent---not just those living in Belmont.

The presentation will be on Wednesday, May 16 at 7:30 pm in the Taube Room at the , 1000 Alameda de las Pulgas.  There is no cost and refreshments will be served.
