Belmont Bank Robber Makes Off With Cash

An armed man who robbed a bank on Friday in Belmont is still at large.

 

Belmont Police are searching for a man who robbed a bank at gun point in Belmont.

On Friday, bank employees at Citibank on Ralston Avenue reported an armed bank robbery.

Belmont Police responded to the scene, located at 1888 Ralston Ave., to find that the suspect had fled on foot through the east doors and into the parking lot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Citibank employees describe the suspect as a thin, light skinned man wearing a black ski mask, black jacket, dark jeans and black shoes with white covering the toe area. He was armed with a black semi-automatic pistol when he demanded money.

According to deputies, the man may have been associated with a light blue car, but that information is unconfirmed at this time.

Belmont Police investigators are working with the FBI to develop additional leads.  Investigators are also working with Citibank representatives to gather surveillance footage of the crime.
