I’ll admit now that Christmas is over: my apartment looks like Santa’s workshop exploded in it. I have every possible decoration from Michael’s, Target and Walgreens, and lights draped from the ceiling around every room.
One might say I’m into Christmas and the holidays. On the flip side, my parents have one dainty string of lights on the outside of their home, and mindfully turn them off right before they retire to bed.

I’m incredibly energy conscious, but the spirited holiday cheer in me just wants to have my entire home lit up 24/7. And I know there are families out there who share my sentiments.
We’ve all walked or driven by that home that has decorations that continue for miles. A satellite from space could spot that home without using any assistance.
