Yes,  two of us attended a "traffic hearing" in March, after writing a letter to the City, about the dangerous driveway where we live at 1633 Sixth Avenue, Belmont. You said that you would look in to it and most likely paint a few feet on each side of the driveway red to prevent cars from parking there, enabling us to see oncoming cars before we proceed onto Sixth Avenue. We have patiently been waiting and thought after the street was recently paved, we'd have the driveway situation taken care of - but to no avail. We haven't heard anything and the dangerous driveway remains the same. This is an accident ready to happen, and then, perhaps, the driveway would be looked at.

Another question, please: why are all the surrounding streets, after the recent paving, been painted yellow down their centers, but our street (Sixth Avenue) does not that line down its center?

I hope you will have the courtesy of a reply and let us here know what more we can do to change this dangerous situation. We are a hidden driveway - the only one on the entire street!

Thank you .
