She was an avid skier and during the mid-1970’s while skiing at Squaw Valley, Bonnie met and fell in love with Bill, and they spent the next 37 years building a life together; raising their children in Belmont California; skiing at Squaw and other great resorts in the western U.S.  Bonnie was a dedicated mother and consummate homemaker.

Bonnie was a fabulous cook and hostess, a kind and generous member of her community and a dedicated volunteer.

She loved her children, family and friends above all else. She especially enjoyed her volunteer work with the PTA, and tutoring students at Carlmont High School, long after her own children had graduated and moved away from home.

Never one to sit around at home, Bonnie volunteered for several years at the USO Center in the San Francisco International Airport. Together with family and friends, Bonnie and Bill enjoyed camping, skiing, snorkeling and traveling.  They relocated closer to Lake Tahoe when Bill retired two years ago and they have been enjoying Bunko games and social gatherings with dear friends and neighbors at Sun City Lincoln Hills in the town of Lincoln, CA.

Friends and family are welcome to join in a celebration of Bonnie’s life at the Sun City Lincoln Hills Orchard Creek Lodge, 965 Orchard Creek Lane in Lincoln CA., on Saturday, September 21 from 11am to 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the American Cancer Society, the Lupus Foundation of America or your favorite charity.
