Final Weekend of 'A Christmas Carol, the Musical' at NDNU Theatre

The show continues this weekend with four free performances Friday thru Sunday. The director encourages anyone who would like to see the show but can't get a ticket to arrive 20 minutes early. All empty seats will be filled.

As Bay Area holiday traditions go, NDNU's "A Christmas Carol, the Musical" stands alone: not just for its longevity (now in its 26th year), but for its impact on the social, philanthropic, artistic, and spiritual fabric of Belmont and surrounding communities.

In lieu of paid tickets, audience members are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy, or a non-perishable food item to the theatre. These donations will be distributed to local charities.

Free performances of “A Christmas Carol: The Gift” are December 17 and 18 at 2 p.m., and December 16, and 17 at 7:30 p.m. For more information and to order tickets visit http://www.christmascarolthegift.org.

According to Michael Elkins, the show's producer/director who plays Scrooge, those unable to obtain tickets are encouraged to arrive at the theatre about 20 minutes before the performance. Empty seats are filled 15 minutes prior to curtain; last weekend, everyone wanting a seat was accommodated.
