Belmont Blasters Baseball is sending it first team to compete in the famed Dreams Park Tournament for 12-year-olds in Cooperstown, NY.  These Blasters are the only all Belmont-Redwood Shores team to make the pilgrimage to baseball's hallowed ground this year.

Shortly after its founding in 2008, the Belmont Blasters have been the Peninsula's premier traveling tournament baseball organization.  These now-12-year-olds are the founding unit of what now represents five teams of players aged 7 through 12.  For the last five years, these boys have represented our community as sportsmen and champions in a multitude of Northern California and Nevada tournaments.

Members of this special collection of athletes include Brandon Burkholder, Brendon Carbullido, Chad Davies, Joseph D'Eredita, Ryan Friere, Sean Prozell, Cole Robinson, Michael Savin, Dominic Susa, James Thompson, and Zane VanArsdel.

The Dreams Park Tournament will run July 14-19. Aside from competing in the 104-team field at the tournament, these all-stars who all originate from local Belmont-Redwood Shores Little League are also looking forward to visiting Major League Baseball's Hall of Fame.

The Blasters will play six games to determine bracket seeding for the single-elimination tournament at the end of next week.  Three of their games will be streamed live at DreamsParkTV.com.
