My name is Aurora and I will be running the Fitness blog on The Patch. This blog will discuss all things fitness, including workout ideas, the benefits of exercise, and suggestions to help you get started with an exercise routine. First, I'd like to introduce myself.
I've lived in Belmont all my life. Now, I'm studying Biology at Stanford. I have a passion for health and fitness-I believe exercise is an important part of a healthy and happy life. Not only that, I believe exercise is something anyone can do and love-most people just have not yet found a form of exercise they love doing.
There are many ways to be active- hiking, running, biking, playing sports, lifting weights. I've always loved softball; however, my new loves are Crossfit and running. I recently trained for and completed my first half marathon (13.1 miles). I also run my own food and fitness blog (http://fitnessissweet.com/).I hope to inspire you all to live active, healthy lives!
