The Musical "Guys and Dolls" by Carlmont High School

Carlmont High School is proud to present the timeless musical comedy Guys and Dolls by Frank Loesser. Considered one of Broadway’s most hilarious shows, Guys  and Dolls has been described as one of the best musicals ever written for American theater, winning a Best Musical Comedy Award with its 1951 production debut. Guys and Dolls tells the tale of Nathan Detroit, who bets fellow gambler Sky Masterson that he can’t make the next girl he sees fall in love with him. That “next girl” is Miss Sarah Brown, a pure-at-heart Salvation Army-type reformer. Featuring songs such as “Luck be a Lady,” this show is the perfect balance of story, dance, music, and romance. Don’t miss this rollicking, audience-pleasing family favorite that critics call “the perfect musical comedy!” Guys and Dolls will be performed from February 7 – 9 at 7pm and February 10 at 2pm.  Performances will take place at the Carlmont High School Performing Arts Center, located at 1400 Alameda de las Pulgas in Belmont.  Tickets are $12 for Children, Students and Seniors, $15 for Adults and may be purchased at www.carlmontperformingarts.com or at the door, 1 hour prior to curtain.
