Food Choices that Make a Difference: A Senior Lunch Talk

Why do people who eat breakfast live a longer, healthier life? Does it matter what I eat for breakfast? Do I need to increase the fiber in my diet and why should I? What foods contain the highest amount of fiber? How can I make my food taste good without adding salt? Come learn practical suggestions for adding seasonings and using fresh herbs to add flavor to foods. Linda Merslich RN BSN, a Community Health Nurse Supervisor at Sequoia Hospital Health & Wellness Center, will give the talk. The Friends of the Belmont Library will sponsor a light lunch catered by Lunardi's.
