An Afternoon with Author Juliet Blackwell

National Best-Selling author Juliet Blackwell will be reading from her new novel, Murder on the House. Mel Turner wants the chance to restore an historic house in San Francisco’s Castro District. The catch: Mel has to spend one night in the house to win the project. But during the spine-chilling sleepover, the estate gains another spectral inhabitant—when someone doesn’t survive the night.

Murder on the House is the third book in the Haunted Home Renovation series, the popular mystery series set in San Francisco. Juliet Blackwell is a pseudonym for a mystery author who also writes the Witchcraft Mystery series and, along with her sister, wrote the Art Lover’s Mystery series as Hailey Lind. The first in that series, Feint of Art, was nominated for an Agatha Award for Best First Novel. As owner of her own faux-finish and design studio, the author has spent many days and nights on construction sites renovating beautiful historic homes throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

A wine and cheese reception will precede the event and a book-selling and signing will follow.
