Be a part of California's largest event!- California Coastal Cleanup Day
Every year, on the third Saturday in September, people join together at sites all over California to take part in the State's largest volunteer event, California Coastal Cleanup Day. The event is part of the International Coastal Cleanup, organized by the Ocean Conservancy.
Belmont's waterways have been included in this event for many years, and we are proud to participate once again. Join your family, friends, school groups, neighbors, scout troops and organizational clubs to partake in cleaning up California waterways. Let’s make trash EXTINCT!

All cleanup supplies are provided, however, to reduce our waste we encourage everyone to bring their own reusable bag, bucket and/or gloves. Put on your cleanup grubbies, smear on the sunscreen, and don’t forget to bring your reusable water bottle.
Chipotle gift cards are available for a FREE menu item to volunteers on a first come first serve basis. A big thanks to Chipotle’s generous donation to the event!
