“Blue Christmas” services recognize that sometimes,
especially around holidays, rejoicing can be hard work. For those who find the
holidays a difficult time, this service offers a sacred space to find peace and
solace. Prayers and music are
offered for all who, in the midst of the chaotic and frantic holiday season,
need a gentle, quiet time or may be feeling anxious about the economy, lonely,
or depressed.
All are invited to join us for this contemplative
candlelight service of simple prayer and music. For more information, please contact the Rev. Michael
Arase-Barham, vicar of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, at (650) 726-0506, or visit our church website, www.goodshepherdbelmont.org.
