There are six races in town: Belmont City Council, Belmont-Redwood Shores School District, Sequoia Union High School District, Mid-Peninsula Water District, San Mateo Community College District, and one measure, an educational parcel tax, Measure R, for the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District.
