It's Election Day; Polls Open Until 8:00 p.m.

Do you vote-by-mail, or are you "old school" and vote on Election Day at your local polling place?

The final postcards have been mailed, the yard signs are on their last legs, and the recorded campaign voicemails will soon cease. Election Day is here and all the campaigning that's going to be done is done. 

The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. today. If you still have your sample ballot, your polling place is printed on the back. Or, you can go to the San Mateo County Elections Office website at  www.shapethefuture.org for a complete voting guide and to find your polling place. Always double-check the location--sometimes the locations change.

If you have a vote-by-mail ballot, DO NOT MAIL. You may drop it off today at any polling location or:
