Small Quake Shook Brisbane Thursday Night

The epicenter of the 2.4-magnitude quake was in the bay.

 

A small 2.4-magnitude earthquake shook near Brisbane late Thursday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake was recorded approximately 2 miles east-southeast of Brisbane at 11:49 p.m., according to the USGS. The epicenter was in the San Francisco Bay. The temblor had a depth of about 7.6 miles.
