Road Closures Scheduled in San Carlos for Hometown Days Event

Road closures and limited parking will be enforced in San Carlos on Saturday, May 21 for the city's 31st annual Hometown Days event.

From 5 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., there will be no parking at the following locations:

• Arroyo between Cedar and Laurel (both sides)
• Cedar Street from Arroyo to San Carlos Ave (both sides)
• South Side of San Carlos Avenue from Cedar to Laurel
• Laurel Street from San Carlos Ave to Arroyo(both sides)
• East Side Of Cedar Street from San Carlos to Magnolia Street

Also during that time, the following streets will be closed to vehicle traffic:

• Arroyo between Cedar and Laurel
• Cedar Street from Arroyo to San Carlos Ave
• Laurel Street from San Carlos Avenue to Arroyo
• Eastbound San Carlos Avenue from Cedar Street to Laurel

Those areas will be posted as "Tow Away Zones."
