The public can register for the many classes, camps and programs offered via mail-in, online, or walk-in.

And new in 2013, in order to make activities as accessible and affordable to as many people as possible, the Belmont Parks & Recreation is moving away from the variable convenience fee to a new $2.50 flat rate processing fee regardless of the number of classes registered for.

Summer camps listed in the 44-page brochure begin in June (some in July) for full and half day for all ages, and continue thru mid-August.

The brochure also lists youth and parent and child classes and courses in arts and crafts, dance, performing theater and music, sports and animation. Swimming lessons are offered through the program at the Carlmont High School Aquatic Center.

Free hard copies can be picked up at the Belmont Parks & Recreation office located in Twin Pines Park, 30 Twin Pines Lane.
