Grab Your Goggles, It's Swim Season at CHS Pool

The Carlmont High School Aquatics Center is now open for youth swim lessons and recreational swimming through the Belmont Parks & Rec Department.

The Belmont Parks & Recreation Department summer aquatics program will kick-off the swim season on Monday, June 24 and run through Friday, August 9 (M-F) at the Carlmont High School pool. 

Youth swim lessons

Swim lessons are offered in two week sessions for swimmers ages 3-14:

10:00am-11:55am

3:00 pm-4:55pm

Beginner swim classes place primary emphasis on teaching children water safety skills, while the more advanced swim classes are designed to develop proper stroke mechanics and technique.

The community is also welcome to come out and enjoy the recreation swim time 1:00pm-2:50pm (M-F), while the more serious swimmers can have the designated lanes for lap swimming all to themselves from 12:00pm-2:50pm (M-F). There is a $5.00 admission fee for entrance into the pool facility.
