Belmont All-Stars Continue Winning Streak
The Belmont-Redwood Shores 11/12 All-Stars will play their next game Saturday, July 6 at 11:30 a.m.

Belmont Redwood Shores 11/12 All-Stars continued their winning streak on Monday night over Foster City, 14-3, in a 4 inning mercy rule win.
In the top of the 1st inning, Brad Shimabuku, Sean Lee, Josh Fong all got hits with Dom Susa driving a line drive to center field for an RBI. In the bottom of the 1st inning Nicolas Lopez was on the mound and Foster City scored 2 runs, ending the 1st inning, 1-2. In the 2nd inning, Lopez smacked a double for 2 RBIs and BRS taking the lead, 3-2.
Shimabuku crushed the ball out of the park for a home run and 2 RBIs pushing the lead up 5-2. Susa delivered another center field hit and Jake Stulbarg place the ball right down the first base line for 2 RBIs, ending the top of the 2nd inning, 7-2. In the bottom of the 2nd, Foster City #43 hit an out of the park home run, ending the inning 7-3. The 3rd inning was quick with no runs scored, BRS holding the lead, 7-3.
In the 4th and final inning, Fong laid down a perfect bunt for a single. Ryan Anderson had a nice hit to center field, Daylin McLemore smacked the ball into right field for an RBI, 8-3. Marcelo, Lopez, Susa, Stulbarg all drove in RBIs ending the top of the 4th, 14-3.
In the bottom of the 4th, BRS put the closer Shimabuku on the mound and the game ended quickly with 3 batters up and 3 down, 14-3.
Thanks to the BRS Manager Rudy Lopez, Coaches Peter Anderson and Kevin Lee for all of their dedication to the team and a big thanks to all of the parents and supporting community who came out to cheer the teams on. BRS will play again at the Belmont Sports Complex on Saturday, July 6 at 11:30am. Hope to see you there!
