The Bay Area News Group has announced its list of the Top Workplaces in 2013 and six businesses near Belmont made the list.
In all, awards were given to 95 employers from Santa Rosa down to Carmel.
The awards are given out based only on employee feedback. Workers across the Bay Area filled out surveys conducted by Workplace Dynamics, resulting in 95 businesses across the region receiving accolades.
The closest elite workplaces to Belmont are all in Redwood Shores, per employee survey data. They are Provident Credit Union, BFK Engineers, Electronic Arts Inc., Kidder Matthews, Energy Experts International and Nelson.
Nelson, which is a group of companies based in career building, staffing and software, has won the award each of the last three years.
Electronic Arts is known for its video games, particularly sports games. Kidder Matthews is a real estate firm.
