Potential Development for Fire House Square - Discussion Tomorrow night at Council 8/14/12

The L-shaped area from the El Camino and O'Neil to and including 5th Ave around the corner is designated as Fire House Square.  This area used to have Ross Lighting, the old City Hall and the old fire station.  Tomorrow night there will be a discussion about having the city manager negotiate with Regis Development for future development of that whole area.  Here is the staff report:

What would you like to see in that area?  How will development affect the neighborhood?  Mixed use? What about the corner of El Camino and O'Neil?  

The city now owns all that property.  So any ideas?  Concerns?  Support?
