Readers' Choice: Who Serves the Best Seafood in Belmont?

Take our poll below.

Perhaps it's an elegantly filleted wild salmon...or sweet Dungeness crab atop a green salad...or maybe it's a basket of just-the-right-amount-of-crispiness fried calamari--whatever your taste in seafood, you surely have your favorite Belmont haunt.

Now, just because a place isn't called Fred's Fried Clam Shack or The Red Snapper doesn't mean it can't serve great seafood--many Belmont restaurants offer a varied menu, but their fish dishes just happen to be extraordinary.

Take a look at our Readers' Choice poll and select your favorite. If you know of a place we've missed, let us know and we'll add it.  And if you prefer to cast a wider net into more distant waters for your catch-of-the-day, feel free to go to another Patch site and vote there. (Tip: simply type in city name(SanMateo, SanCarlos, etc.).patch.com.)

Polls close Friday at 9 a.m.; winner will be announced at noon that day.

China Village is a wonderful resturant. On average, our family has been eating there approximately twice each month for the past several years.

Thanks for your input Bob. Do you have a particular favorite dish on the menu?

Joan, yes we really enjoy the General Chicken and General Beef. On the Dim Sum side, we normally order several different selections, the majority from the steamed choices. We really like the dishes that include shrimp, pork, and beef.

Thanks for your advice Bob...we've never been to China Village, but on your recommendation, we'll try it!
