The green tarps and cones in the parking lot of had some folks thinking was adding a new outdoor seating area, or that or were expanding, but apparently the project is strictly infrastructure related.
According to Ivano Pellegrini, the manager of the shopping center, the construction is to add a back-flow preventer, which is required by the water department to regulate irrigation systems.
Pellegrini said the work should be completed by Friday.
