Carlmont Merchants Preparing for Trick-or-Treaters

The Carlmont Shopping Center will host its annual Halloween Parade on Wednesday.

Emay Wang of Emay's Sweet Shop was busy on Monday preparing treat bags for up to 300 children who will undoubtedly stop by her candy store on Wednesday after the annual Carlmont Shopping Center Halloween Parade.

"I'm expecting about 300 kids to stop in, so I've been busy all day," said Emay as she tied tiny ribbons to cellophane candy bags.

Other merchants in the shopping center will also be participating in the safe trick-or-treating event that will take place immediately following the parade, which starts at 4:00 p.m. in front of Hola! Mexican Restaurant.
