Took my wife to the Moonraker for our 34th Anniversary last night an we had excellent Dungeness Crab cakes and seared jumbo sea scallops. A young couple sitting near by had a tasty looking grilled Salmon pinwheel. I hope you will add Moonraker to your list.

A lot of good choices here but none have all of the great features of Sam's...exquisite food, fun atmosphere, breathtaking location and good wine! Cheryl

For seafood in Pacifica there is only one place I go to for seafood and that is Nick's Restaurant. Crab Sandwiches, Clam Chowder and my favorite, the best up and down the coast is their famous Oysters Rockefeller. I have had Oysters Rockefeller everywhere and Nicks makes it the best. With a side of Stoli's Vodka. The Best.

Sam's is nice, in a kitschy sort of way. The view is great and the drive is nice (if one avoids the tourist jam). Val's in Daly City makes excellent chowder on Fridays: red one week, white the next. Good service and a quiet, retro feel (nicer than Joe's of Westlake).
