Slideshow: 'Electric Sliding' in Twin Pines

The Belmont Park Boosters present a free concert each Sunday through July 28 in Twin Pines Park.

The heat didn't stop Country & Western music fans from coming out to Twin Pines Park on Sunday to enjoy the Americana ballads, dance tunes and harmonies of the Fred McCarty Band.

Some music lovers ventured onto the lawn for the "Electric Slide" and good old fashioned do-si-doing. Even those on Segway scooters got into the act.

And as always, the Park Boosters were happy to serve up burgers, hot dogs, beer and snow cones (a big hit on a hot day).

The Park Booster Summer Concert Series is in full swing and will continue this Fourth of July weekend with Plastic Onion, a Beatles tribute band.
