Multi-talented Anthony Horowitz will appear at the Belmont Library on Thursday, November 17 at 7:00 pm to read from his latest book, House of Silk: a Sherlock Holmes Novel. For the first time since the death of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, a new Holmes story has been sanctioned by his estate, giving Horowitz privileged access to the estate's archives. Those who are familiar with Horowitz’s previous work will be whetting their appetites for this latest achievement. Horowitz is well known to both adults and young adults for his work as creator and screenwriter of the highly acclaimed PBS series Foyle’s War, the recently-aired drama Collision, and the highly successful Alex Rider series.
Light refreshments will be served, courtesy of the Friends of the Belmont Library.
This program is made possible by M is for Mystery Bookstore. Books will be available for purchase and signing following the author’s presentation – just in time to make someone special a wonderful holiday gift.
