So....You Think You Can Sing, Dance, Act?

The Belmont Community Players are looking for singers and dancers--ages 18-and-up--for their fall production, "The Villain Wore a Dirty Shirt" or "Always Wash Your Longjohns 'Cause It Makes A Lotta Sense."

Auditions for the 2012 melodrama, "The Villain Wore a Dirty Shirt" or "Always Wash Your Longjohns 'Cause It Makes A Lotta Sense," will be held on two days in July.

Complete with villains (“Boo!”), heroes, (Hurrah!), and heroines (Awww!), this year's show is the story of a laundress with a profitable secret.

This -sponsored, interactive, action-packed family show features entertaining actors, dancers and singers from Belmont and beyond.  Audience members are encouraged to cheer or jeer the actors and sing along with the “Olios” singers and dancers.

Of course, you don't have to be old enough to recall the melodramas of yesteryear, nor do you need to show up with a Broadway resume--all that's required is a sense of fun and a decent Can-Can kick. The show's make-up artists can take care of the rest!
