What Would You Improve in Mountain View in 2013?

If you could make a New Year's resolution for Mountain View, what would it be?

More than 45 percent of Americans make a resolution every year, according to statisticbrain.com. Some people vow to live a healthier lifestyle, others promise to spend more time with family, and many say they will try to save money.

As millions of Americans make resolutions to improve their lives, what could we do right here in Mountain View to make it an even better place to live?

Would you consider making the city more bicycle friendly? Should the city definitely add a community shuttle? Should paid parking be brought to the downtown or other areas to reduce vehicle, pollution and generate revenue?

What is on your Mountain View wish list? What is one thing you would improve in 2013?

Don't miss a thing in Mountain View!

So you want the speed limit to increase? Most people want slower speeds through their neighborhoods. Don't you find there is lots of congestion? Why a higher speed?

Aaron! I concur! I'm a fan of Specialty's!

The ridiculous recycling bins that split paper and containers. Splitting the recycling canister in half wastes space, and collecting once every two weeks makes the situation even worst. We need the all-in-one canister like Palo Alto.

Thanks for the suggestion JC. Do you think the split waste space because the garbage doesn't fill up the space well as it fall in the bin? I'm trying to understand what makes the all-in-one canister better?

Don't bring paid parking downtown. That will seriously take away from the charm of this town.
