Volunteers Needed Sunday to Help "Prep" Barrett

Come on out this Sunday morning to help get Barrett Community Center ready for a face-lift!

Later this month, Barret Community Center will get a mini-face-lift when a team of Rebuilding Together volunteers gather to paint the building's exterior. In preparation for the painting project, the city's Parks and Recreation Department is asking for helpers to prep the site this Sunday morning.

Rebuilding Together is a non-profit organization dedicated to repairing homes and renovating recreation facilities and schools. The city is fortunate that Barrett was selected as one of this year's Peninsula projects.

Come on out and join other volunteers for a few hours of giving back to the community by helping prep the walls of Barrett---it's easy work and can be accomplished by volunteers of all age groups and skill levels.
