Continuing Samaritan House’s long-standing holiday tradition, staff and over 60 volunteers from the organization will be serving Thanksgiving Dinner to 400 members of the San Mateo community on Thursday from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at the King Center, located at 725 Monte Diablo Ave in San Mateo.
Every year, Samaritan House reaches out to their neighbors in-need to provide a delicious, traditional holiday meal and a cheerful place for people to go. Community members are welcome to enjoy a Thanksgiving Day dinner cooked by Samaritan House staff – including turkey with stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, dessert, and beverage. As usual, the festivities will include a DJ playing music as well as raffle prizes.
