Help preserve and improve the camping experience!

The San Mateo County Parks Foundation posted this crowdfunding project to purchase new universal access campfire rings at 60 campsites in Memorial Park.    Sitting under the stars, roasting s'mores, and telling ghost stories around the fire are treasured memories for many citizens in South San Francisco. By installing these new universal access campfire rings, we can make camping more accessible to all residents and preserve the camping tradition for many years to come. To learn more about the Foundation's proposed plans for these campfire rings or to make a tax-deductible donation, visit citizinvestor.com/project/fire-rings-at-memorial-park.

Donations are tax-deductible, but your credit card will not be charged unless the project reaches 100% of its funding goal before the funding deadline 50 days from now.  We’re only 5% of the way there now, but with the help of California’s camping community, these new fire rings can be a reality.

Thank you for supporting our parks!
