I want to see some rubber ducky racing down the stepped fountain! It would be such fun to see theRead More ducks bouncing down from step to step like slinkies. It's such a beautiful view from atop the new station when you look into the distance -- too bad when you look down it is marred by some really ugly spaces like the abandoned bank building and former tire center. Just hope that when the economy picks up no one builds high rises that will block the view. I also hope that people walking to/from the train station help business pick up on San Mateo Avenue. I find it really depressing how dead the street is when I walk to/from the station.

Bullyism, Homophobism,Sexism,Sizism and Racism; they are all one in the same and they areRead More perpetrated by people who are inadequate, insecure and have feelings of insignificance within themselves. Much like the Cyber bullies on Patch or any blog site that sits behind the protection of there keyboard and say nasty things about folks when otherwise they would be quiet as a mouse!

I've been fighting bullies all my life, mostly on behalf of other people that were to weak or scaredRead More or whatever, to fight back. To quote Oprah Winfrey who played Sophia in the hit Steven Spielberg produced movie, COLOR PURPLE: "All my life I had to fight. I had to fight my daddy. I had to fight my uncles. I had to fight my brothers. A girl child ain't safe in a family of men, but I ain't never thought I'd have to fight in my own house"! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5v5JjUZpAPk
